We had an amazing first day in Rome! We visited Saint Peter’s Basilica to start the day and were awed by the beautiful art and architecture. The kids were fascinated to see the relics of Saint Pius X and enjoyed climbing the 551 steps to the cupola overlooking Vatican City and the city of Rome. A few of you may be receiving a postcard soon from Vatican City!
